My Favorite Thing... my tennis ball

There are many things that I really enjoy: food, a playmate, a nice run. But nothing tops my tennis ball. It is the perfect toy. I can play with it on my own or with a friend. My foster parents even throw it around so I can chase it. It's so much fun.

When I am by myself, I love to bite on it then throw it up in the air so I can go chase it. I can do this for hours. It always makes my foster parents laugh. They say they have never seen a dog get so much enjoyment out of a tennis ball by throwing it around and chasing it. How is it possible for any dog not to enjoy this is what I want to know.
My foster mom took some video of me playing with my ball in the house. You should check it out. You'll want to play with a tennis ball to after you see how much fun it is.

Interesting Creatures....

My foster parents live near this nice wooded, wetland area. When we go walking, there is always plenty to investigate. We were out walking the other night, and this strange thing jumped up on my foot. It was a frog! He hopped a little down the sidewalk, and I followed right behind him sniffing. It was so weird but cool. And if that wasn't enough excitement for one walk, my foster mom found a small snake on the other side of the street and held it up for me to see. He was so cool! I love going on our walks! You never know what you are going to see!

Meet Brendan

Hello everyone. My name is Brendan. It is wonderful to meet you!
I am a one year old, small-size Bull Terrier mix. I am still a puppy with all that exciting puppy energy. I love to play! I'll play with you, my other dog friends, and toys. Some of my other traits are: affectionate, social, and funny. My new foster parents describe me as a big ball of energy. I also enjoying talking and taking long walks or jogs.

My new foster home has been a lot of fun. I have plenty of toys to play with (the tennis ball and squeaky toys are my favorite) and I have a playmate, Cecelia. She is older than me but keeps up with my puppy energy pretty well. My foster parents give me lots of treats, but only when I do a trick or am well behaved. So far I know sit, lay down, and stay. My foster parents are teaching my how to shake and not jump on people when playing (it's so hard sometimes because I get so excited!) I will keep trying though because I know I get treats when I am good :)
I am a wonderful boy in search of my forever home. If you are looking for a fun, energetic pup, I just might be the one for you. Please come visit me!
